Beautifully written Mukta. The real estate companies are literally eating up the green landscapes in and around most cities. Loved reading about your hikes in England.
Beautiful and meaningful, as always! I am thankful for the tiny bit of nature that is part of my daily life: bird calls, greenery, trees, and, when I want a more 'forest-y' space, the green belt adjacent to our complex with its several karanj and pilkhan trees, among the neems, palms, and other varieties.
Once again, so helpful and thoughtful. I loved the part about policy deadlock. About wanting conservation and development, growth and restoration/relaxation. Thank you ♥️
I won’t be able to handle this clean air
Ha ha! I thought so too…but I managed!

Thanks Shital. This is in New England, an hour from Boston on the coast.
Oops!! For some reason I read it the other way. But beautiful imagery nevertheless 🙂
I’ll only process pics once I get home. Hope to have some good ones to treasure and share!
Beautiful pictures Mukta. I hope you find more time to bond with Mother Nature once you’re back.
Thank you! I hope so too. Definitely when the heat reduces.

These walks look idyllic! Love how simply you've articulated the conservation-development nexus. Happy walking x
