Beautifully written Mukta. The real estate companies are literally eating up the green landscapes in and around most cities. Loved reading about your hikes in England.

Beautiful and meaningful, as always! I am thankful for the tiny bit of nature that is part of my daily life: bird calls, greenery, trees, and, when I want a more 'forest-y' space, the green belt adjacent to our complex with its several karanj and pilkhan trees, among the neems, palms, and other varieties.
